you might remember chiara and justin’s june wedding with plenty of–ahem–liquid sunshine. here’s a few of the pro pics by jayme and russ from that day. the design was inspired by chiara’s neutral color palette and fluffy tulle–the bridesmaid bouquets featured tulle bows and chiara’s bouquet was trimmed with a puff of tulle loops making a collar around the flowers.
at the flower party the day before, i helped the bridesmaids put together their own hydrangea bouquets and got everybody started on the centerpieces while i made chiara’s bridal bouquet. there is no way to describe how that thing smelled. it had peonies, garden roses, and sweet peas, to name a few. i just wanted to bury my face in it the whole time. or be teeny tiny and take a nap nestled in the petals. writing the recipe in my worksheet, i called it “fluffy awesome bridal bouquet.” i think it worked out that way, if i do say so myself.
